NFL FLAG COACHES MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Do you love the feeling you get when you see your child having the time of their life, while participating in something special? I know we do! There is nothing like seeing your child having a blast, doing something they love to do.

If you love all of the life lessons and incredible experiences that sport has to offer, and want to pass that passion onto your child and their teammates, then please consider joining us to coach NFL Flag Football! There’s nothing more gratifying than walking away from a game that you helped coach, and saying, “Now that was awesome, that was special, that feels good!”

Coaching in the NFL Flag Calgary League, is exciting, fulfilling, and gives you an opportunity to teach skills to a new generation of players. We strive to create and maintain a positive, no-pressure atmosphere, in a fun, safe and supportive environment for young athletes. As a parent volunteer and coach, you will be an integral part of supporting this mission.

Whether you’ve played at a high level or never at all, we believe that anyone can be a successful coach if they are dedicated and passionate about becoming one.

Our league simply cannot work without amazing volunteers from our parent community. There is no one that will be more dedicated to the children out on the field, than the parents of children that are involved. That then translates to the same quality of care for all participating kids. We are so thankful to any parents and family members that are willing to give their time and efforts, to help make NFL Flag Calgary an incredible experience for all of our kids and families.

All coaches will be given easy, straightforward resources, and access to coaching clinics that provide an assortment of instructional videos, playbooks, drills, rules and tips to help you be the best coach you can be!

One of the best assets we have with NFL Flag, is free access to the MOJO app. This app provides coaching resources to participants all over the world in many different sports. NFL Flag has teamed up with MOJO, to offer tons of amazing instructional resources, specific to NFL Flag Football. This provides easy to follow resources, such as videos for instruction, that will help guide all coaches through practices and games. It’s like having your own personal flag football tutor, right along beside you!

Our goal is to make coaching straightforward and simple for our volunteers, so that it is a smooth and better experience, which then leads to an even better on field experience for our kids.

We love our coaches and value you in ways that words can’t even express! Without you, our league cannot operate. You are the ones that determine what kind of experience our kids have in the end. If the kids walk away loving their experience and wanting to come back and play again and again, then the first ones to thank will be you, the coaches!
